Specialized Confined Space Training for CBJ, Capital City Fire Rescue, Special Teams

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) seeks a consultant to provide specialized confined space training for the Capital City Fire Rescue (CCFR) department. The training will include Confined Space Rescue, Hazardous Material Technician, and Abandoned Mineshaft Rescue Training. The consultant will provide in-person training for up to 24 students, with a minimum of 12 participants from CCFR. The contract term is from the date of award through training completion, which must be completed prior to September 15, 2023. The consultant will be required to provide instructor travel, per diem, and rental car costs, as well as purchase rental car insurance. The CBJ will provide instructor housing at a fire station and access to appropriate training sites. • The consultant will provide hard copies of any curriculum packages and certificates of completion. • The consultant will be required to comply with all Federal Guidelines and rules governing the use of Federal monies. • The consultant will be required to review, understand, and agree to comply with the DHS&EM Contract Assurances. • The consultant will be required to provide a price proposal that includes a description of services and compensation for each deliverable.
