If you've logged into Bid Banana lately, you may have noticed something new in the navigation bar: Company Profile. It's more than just a place to list your business basics — it's the engine that personalizes your entire Bid Banana experience and gives buyers a way to discover you. Here's a tour of what your Company Profile does and why filling it out is one of the highest-leverage things you can do on the platform.

A Smarter, More Personal Bid Feed
At the heart of Company Profile is the Recommended Opportunities Feed, a tailored stream of bids powered by Bid Banana AI™.

Instead of wading through every RFP under the sun, you'll see opportunities matched to your business, each tagged with a percentage match score so you can quickly tell which ones are worth a closer look. The more detail you provide in your profile — your industries, services, keywords, and territory — the sharper those recommendations become.
Company Details: The Foundation
The Company Details page is where you tell Bid Banana who you are. You can capture your company name, website, and address, set up a public point of contact (name, email, phone), and add the business specifics that matter for matching: employee count, annual revenue range, work territory (with the option to include all U.S. states), industries, a short summary of your services, and search keywords.

There are also fields for your EIN, any DBA names, and certifications.
The summary and keyword fields in particular are what feed the AI matching engine, so a thoughtful, accurate description pays dividends.
Documents: Your Digital Binder
The Documents section lets you upload the materials buyers actually want to see when they're sizing up a vendor.

You can store a Capability Statement, resumes of key staff, product or service overviews, pricing sheets, copies of certifications, marketing materials, and case studies — all in one place. Some categories are single-file (like the Capability Statement) and others support multiple uploads, so you can build out a full library that travels with your profile.
Profile Visibility: You're in Control
Not every detail needs to be shouted from the rooftops, and the Profile Visibility page makes that easy to manage.

A master toggle lets you decide whether your profile shows up in vendor search at all. From there, you can flip individual switches for company info (DBA, address), contact details (name, phone), business details (employee count, revenue range), work and services (industries, keywords, certifications), and each document category. Anything you hide is still visible to your team internally — buyers just won't see it.
Manage Team: Bring Your Whole Crew
Bid pursuits are rarely a solo sport. Manage Team lets you see your current members and send invitations to colleagues by email and role, so everyone working on proposals can collaborate inside the same Bid Banana workspace.
Settings: Domain Verification and More
The Settings page is home to Domain Verification, where you prove ownership of your company's domain by adding a TXT record to your DNS. Verifying your domain adds a layer of trust to your public profile. This is also where you'll find the "Danger Zone" if you ever need to delete the profile entirely — a permanent action, so it's tucked away with appropriate warnings.
Coming Soon: Vendor Search
Keep an eye on the Vendor Search tab.

It's the natural counterpart to everything above — once it goes live, buyers will be able to discover the vendors who've built out their profiles. The companies that have already filled in their details, uploaded documents, and tuned their visibility settings will be the ones standing out from day one.
Why It's Worth the 15 Minutes

If you've been meaning to set yours up, today's a good day.
