The City of Mount Clemens is accepting sealed proposals for the furnishing and installation of new baseball diamond fencing. The project includes removing approximately 8,000 square feet of plywood from the baseball diamond outfield wall and installing approximately 8,000 square feet of 2” x 9 gauge green, vinyl-coated, galvanized chain link fence. The fence should have a 1 5/8” top rail, mid rail, and bottom rail as required for standard installation. The existing posts should be utilized as much as possible, and if additional posts are required, they should match the existing ones. • The vendor is responsible for evaluating the site conditions prior to submitting their proposal. • The vendor shall prepare shop drawings of the proposed equipment and submit it to the city for review, prior to fabrication. • The installation shall comply with all applicable city ordinances and codes adopted by or referenced by the city. • The awarded vendor shall comply with local and state health codes, construction practices, and coordinate with other trades and city departments as necessary to complete the project. • The company responsible for manufacturing products specified in this section should have no less than three (3) years of documented experience. • The company responsible for the installation of relevant products should have no less than three (3) years of documented experience.
