Description
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Safety and Security division is seeking one vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance and support for its integrated security infrastructure, which includes the Genetec Access Control System and a heterogeneous camera/video system (QVMS) comprised of equipment from Pelco, Panasonic, Axis, and Genetec. The vendor must be capable of delivering ongoing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, hardware replacement, and technical support across all components under a single, multi‑year agreement. This effort consolidates previously separate contracts into one unified service arrangement to ensure consistent performance and streamlined vendor management.
• Maintain and service Genetec Access Control hardware and software.
• Provide full‑life‑cycle support for the multi‑vendor camera/video ecosystem (Pelco, Panasonic, Axis, Genetec).
• Deliver preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and hardware repairs/replacements as needed.
• Offer a single point of contact and unified billing for all security system services.
• Comply with City‑mandated insurance requirements (Automobile, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation).
