MSW, Recycling, Leaf Bag, and Bulk Services

The City of West Haven is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Recycling, Leaf Bag Collection, and Bulk Waste Collection Services. The contractor will be responsible for collecting, transporting, and disposing of MSW and recyclables, as well as providing bulk waste collection services. The contract will be for a term of 2 years, with an option to renew for an additional year. The city is looking for a contractor that can provide reliable, efficient, and professional waste management services while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and vehicles necessary to perform the collection and disposal operations. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining collection schedules, responding to missed collections, and providing courteous customer service. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor will be required to submit a proposal that includes pricing, experience, and qualifications.
