The contract allows for comprehensive maintenance, repair, monitoring, and operational support responsibilities for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s 700/800 MHz Bus Radio System (BRS), covering 39 sites, Bus Command Center (BCC), Transition Center (TC), backhaul networks, base stations, dispatch systems, mobile and portable radios, and related infrastructure. Qualified contractors will provide mandatory OEM training and certifications, preventive and corrective maintenance requirements, stringent service-level obligations for routine and emergency response, spare parts management, network operations center support, reporting, software/firmware management, interoperability with CleverCAD, and adherence to extensive MTA cybersecurity standards. The contractor must ensure uninterrupted system performance, preserve all existing operational workflows, maintain redundancy, provide 24/7 technical support, and comply with all applicable codes, standards, and security policies for the duration of the agreement.
