Central College Subtrunk, Phase 3 (650033-100003)

The City of Columbus is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the Central College Subtrunk, Phase 3 (CIP 650033‑100003). The scope includes approximately 10,926 linear feet of 48‑inch inside‑diameter sanitary sewer installed by curved and straight slurry micro‑tunneling through mixed soil and rock conditions, plus additional smaller‑diameter sewers, manholes, jacking and receiving pits, and associated site work such as bypass pumping, dewatering, geotechnical monitoring, contact grouting, traffic maintenance, and restoration. The project also requires abandonment of an existing 24‑inch subtrunk and coordination with existing utilities. • 48‑inch reinforced‑concrete jacking pipe with internal HDPE stud liner • Approx. 10,926 ft of micro‑tunnel, plus 63 ft of 18‑in, 82 ft of 8‑in, and 70 ft of 12‑in sewer installed by open‑cut • 12 manholes, 4 jacking pits, 5 receiving pits, 8 micro‑tunnel drives • Crossings under Rocky Fork Creek and existing gas mains • Required bypass pumping, dewatering, geotechnical instrumentation, contact grouting, traffic control, and site restoration • Sealed bid process; submission deadline 18 Nov 2026
