Medical Supplies for Emergency Medical Services

The City of Omaha is seeking a qualified vendor to provide medical supplies for emergency medical services. The vendor will be required to assume responsibility for all contractual services offered in this proposal and provide a comprehensive list of supplies needed. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that can provide the most comprehensive list of supplies needed. The vendor must be able to accept and process orders for class 2 and 4 schedule drugs, have an FDA and ISO certified kitting facility, and provide in-service training for all shifts at Omaha Fire Department. The vendor must also have electronic requisition purchasing, emergency disaster support program, and 24x7 ecommerce ordering. Some key points to consider are: • The contract term is for one year, with the option to extend for up to four separate one-year terms. • The vendor must provide pricing for each item listed in the line items tab. • The vendor must have the ability to receive orders electronically via a website. • The vendor must provide electronic ordering for Schedule 4 and 2 Narcotics. • The vendor must pay for annual renewal licenses for Operativ IQ Modules. • The vendor must attend quarterly/monthly/etc. Department EMS committee meetings. • The vendor must be an established national wholesale distributor of EMS equipment and supplies. • The vendor must have a Code of Conduct policy in place. • The vendor must have multiple distribution centers to ensure critical supplies during disasters. • The vendor must provide product training for OFD - From the product manufacturers in person or virtually. • The vendor must provide in-service training with manufacturer rep. • The vendor must have the ability to set up evaluations to be in the format of quarterly meeting/business review to review OFD spend, usage, shipping fill rates, etc. • The vendor must have an online website designed specifically for service (advanced user interface). • The vendor must be VAWD certified (Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributor).
