TREES AND PLANTS

Knox County, Tennessee, is soliciting bids for the provision of trees and plants. The successful bidder will be required to provide various types of trees and plants, including Acer Rubrum, Acer Saccharum, Cornus Florida, and others. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional four years. The bidder must provide a detailed specification sheet of the items bid and include all destination and delivery charges in their price. The evaluation criteria will be based on cost (90 points) and delivery (10 points). • The bidder must provide new, previously unused materials. • The bidder must include a discount off of stated price for items in current on-site inventory at the bidder’s location. • The bidder must include a percentage mark-up for specialty items and/or items not available in current on-site inventory. • The bidder must provide a copy of the invoice from their supplier(s) for each order placed showing the bidder’s cost for the items.
