New Generator – Tracy Hall Municipal Building, Town of Norwich, Vermont

The Town of Norwich is seeking a contractor to supply and install a new 100kw, 120/208V diesel-fired generator at the Tracy Hall Municipal Building. The scope of work includes all electrical and mechanical work needed to properly install the generator, as well as removal and disposal of the existing generator. The contractor must provide a 5-year, 2000-hour parts warranty and a 2-year service warranty. The project requires a site visit, although it is not mandatory. The town intends to open bids on September 16, 2026, and select a contractor by September 24, 2026. • The generator must be a 100kw, 120/208V diesel-fired unit with a 400 Amp service rated transfer switch and surge protection. • The contractor must provide a fully functional unit upon completion of the work. • The contractor must secure all required State of Vermont permits and inspections. • The contractor must provide on-site training, warranty, and an optional service agreement. • The town reserves the right to select any bid for any reason and to reject any or all bids.
