Locally Grown Specialty Produce

The Tucson Unified School District is seeking a produce distributor to provide fresh, locally grown, specialty produce for the district's Food Services Central Warehouse. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional year. The district is looking for a vendor who can provide high-quality, Arizona-grown produce, with a focus on meeting the nutritional needs of the district's menu. The vendor will be required to provide smaller deliveries to the warehouse and must be able to provide additional information such as the location and name of the Arizona farm(s), years in business, and harvest and season information. • The district is seeking a vendor who can provide a variety of quality Arizona-grown products. • The vendor must be able to meet the district's requirements for delivery and pricing. • The district is looking for a vendor who can provide excellent customer service and support. • The vendor must be able to provide high-quality produce that meets the district's nutritional standards. • The vendor must be able to provide timely and efficient delivery of products.
