The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking applications for the NIAID Clinical Trial Implementation Cooperative Agreement, which aims to support investigator-initiated, milestone-driven, high-risk clinical trials, including mechanistic studies associated with these clinical trials. The program encompasses both basic and clinical research and includes support for the conduct, completion, and analysis of the clinical trial. Key activities supported by this program include training of study personnel, enrollment and recruitment of study subjects, data collection, clinical data management and quality control, investigational product costs, laboratory work and data analyses, study management and oversight, post-trial activities, and regulatory activities and site monitoring. • The program supports clinical trials that address high-priority research areas, including infectious diseases and immunology. • The program provides funding for the conduct, completion, and analysis of clinical trials. • The program supports training of study personnel and recruitment of study subjects. • The program includes support for laboratory work, data analyses, and regulatory activities. • The program aims to advance the mission of NIAID by supporting innovative and high-impact clinical trials.
