Murray State University is seeking a qualified architectural/engineering consulting firm to design, develop construction documents, and provide contract administration for a multi‑year, phased upgrade of its campus‑wide electrical utility infrastructure. The scope includes design of a new 69 kV substation, upgrades to existing substations, loop‑feeder configuration, aerial conductor replacement, underground equipment replacement, unit substation upgrades, transformer deficiency planning, metering studies, fault‑indication planning, and master scheduling/optimization. The consultant will also deliver detailed AutoCAD one‑line and geographic layout drawings and support the construction phase with inspections, shop‑drawing reviews, and change‑order management. • Design of new 69 kV substation and upgrades to existing medium‑voltage facilities. • Comprehensive utility‑grade electrical engineering services (including telecom, metering, fault‑indication, and scheduling). • Full contract‑administration support through construction, including weekly site inspections and coordination with a third‑party commissioning agent.
