The Test & Evaluation/Science & Technology (T&E/S&T) Program aims to develop technologies required to test and evaluate future warfighting capabilities. The program focuses on Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Advanced Technology Development for technologies needed to test and evaluate warfighting systems. The program addresses test technology needs across the full spectrum of DoD Acquisition, including Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and Live-Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E). Some of the key areas of focus include autonomy and artificial intelligence test, advanced instrumentation systems test, command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence test, cyberspace test technology, directed energy test, electronic warfare test, high-speed systems test, space systems test, and spectrum efficient technology. The program seeks technology that will result in higher quality, more cost-effective, and timely test and evaluation of warfighting systems.
