Coolant for Transit Buses and Fire Apparatus

The City of Santa Monica is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish, deliver, and manage bulk engine coolant for its transit bus fleet and fire department heavy‑duty apparatus. The scope includes supplying fully formulated heavy‑duty extended‑life coolant (≈6,300 gal), hybrid coolant (≈3,000 gal), 50/50 glycol‑ethylene blend containers (30 × 5 gal), field test strips, delivery logistics, pickup of used coolant, and annual Level 3 laboratory testing. Vendors must demonstrate five years of coolant blending/distribution experience, provide technical training, submit ASTM‑compliant test results, and be an authorized distributor. The contract will be awarded to the best value bidder based on price, technical capability, experience, and references, with a potential four‑year renewal option at the same terms.
