Mobile Video Security Systems for CyRide Buses

The City of Ames is seeking proposals for the purchase and installation of mobile video security systems for CyRide buses. The initial contract period will be from the date of award through December 31, 2026, with the option of four additional 12-month renewal periods. The system should be able to store a minimum of 14 days of video retention on each bus. The proposal should include dimensional drawings of all components, DVR user manual, product manual and specifications for all hardware quoted, video review software user manual, and warranty terms of all proposed components. Some key features of the system include: • Minimum 14 days of video retention on each bus • Ability to store at least 252 hours of video • No requirement for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) integration • No requirement for Third-Party Video Management System (VMS) integration • No requirement for native AI features such as Facial Recognition, Appearance Search, etc.
