Accounting Services

The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms for accounting services. Services provided through this contract will assist CVRPC to perform full charge bookkeeping including preparing for and participating in an annual audit from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029. The scope of work includes performing accounting services, preparing for and participating in CVRPC’s annual audit, and providing other services as requested by CVRPC. The successful contractor will work with CVRPC’s Office Manager and will be expected to provide monthly financial statements and a monthly financial report for the Executive Director and Executive Committee. • The contractor will be responsible for performing accounting services, including payroll, invoicing, and reconciling cash accounts. • The contractor will be responsible for preparing for and participating in CVRPC’s annual audit. • The contractor will be responsible for providing other services as requested by CVRPC, including training financial management staff and adapting and strengthening internal controls. • The contractor will be expected to work with CVRPC’s Office Manager to identify where internal controls should be strengthened and to document modifications to internal controls and administrative procedures. • The contractor will be expected to provide monthly financial statements and a monthly financial report for the Executive Director and Executive Committee.
