Description
The Town of Cary is soliciting qualified suppliers to provide high‑strength thermoplastic filter media retainers for the Cary‑Apex Water Treatment Facility’s bio‑filtration conversion project. The contract covers the supply of approximately 356 units (or 1,424 ft²) of media retainers that must meet NSF/ANSI 61 certification, be compatible with existing Leopold® Type S underdrain systems, and withstand up to 15 psi pressure and 25 gpm/ft² flow. Bidders must also include freight, a site‑visit for installation instruction (up to 6 days onsite plus travel), and all required hardware (316 SS screws, sealant). The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; the base contract term is one year with two optional one‑year extensions.
