System Modernization RFI

The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is seeking vendor input on a comprehensive, modern driver‑licensing system to replace its legacy platform. The RFI solicits detailed descriptions of functional capabilities, system architecture, implementation, data migration, testing, training, support, and hosting options. Responses will be used for planning and may lead to future procurement and live virtual demonstrations. • Full end‑to‑end licensing lifecycle coverage (issuance, renewals, CDL, mDL, voter registration, etc.) • Integrated finance, audit, investigation, and customer‑service functions with robust reporting and self‑service BI • Detailed implementation methodology, data‑conversion strategy, and post‑go‑live support plans • Capability to host on‑premise, cloud, or hybrid environments and meet AAMVA REST and ISO mobile‑DL standards • Optional live virtual demos to showcase solution fit after RFI evaluation
