Ship's Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) No. 1 and No. 2

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for quote (RFQ) to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation/Northrop Grumman Marine Systems for a Firm Fixed Price contract to perform repairs on Ship's Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) No. 1 and No. 2 onboard a Virginia-Class Submarine. The scope of work includes providing 30 days of qualified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical assistance, disassembly, inspection, and repair of the SSTGs, as well as accomplishing SSTG Static Tuning, grooming, and SSTG testing. The contractor will also be required to provide OEM engineering services onsite for analysis, data review, and technical recommendations specific to Dynamic Tuning and micro-balancing evolution. • Provide 30 days of qualified OEM technical assistance • Disassemble, inspect, and repair the SSTGs • Accomplish SSTG Static Tuning, grooming, and SSTG testing • Provide OEM engineering services onsite for analysis, data review, and technical recommendations • Remove existing and install new material as required • Accomplish in-place machining and grinding to final finish • Record final dimensional readings and submit reports to the supervisor.
