Armored Car Services

The County of Frederick, Maryland is seeking quotes from qualified firms for armored car services. The selected firm will be responsible for picking up sealed bank deposits from various County locations and delivering them to bank branch locations and the cash vault center with the County's banking partner. The contract period will be for one year, with a renewal option for four additional years. The firm must have a minimum of five years of experience in armored car services and must provide proof of insurance and certification. The County reserves the right to add or delete locations, increase or decrease the number of pick-up days, and change the bank location pick-ups/deliveries. • The firm must provide a set charge for off-cycle pick-ups if needed by the County. • The firm must confirm its ability to provide the required delivery timeframe for each location. • The firm must have a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate liability insurance. • The firm must have a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate security guard professional liability insurance. • The firm must have a minimum of $1,000,000 cargo liability insurance.
