Crash Attenuators (TMA)

The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking bids for Crash Attenuators (TMA) for both Trailer and Truck Mount. The contract will be for an initial term of one year with the option for four one-year extensions. The successful bidder will be required to provide a complete operating unit that meets the specifications outlined in the ITB. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. • The TMA must comply with MASH as approved by FHWA latest standard(s) • The TMA must have previously been tested in accordance with the FHWA approved testing criteria • The TMA must consist of specific components, including a collapsible frame assembly, cartridges, impact face, and more • The vendor must provide a demonstration of the unit at DelDOT's designated location if required • The vendor must have a local telephone number, toll-free number, or accept collect calls • The vendor must accept payment by procurement card, check, or other electronic means
