Maintenance, Repair, and Operations Supplies for the City of Detroit (GSD)

The City of Detroit is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive line of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies. The contract will be for a period of five years, with the option for renewal. The vendor will be required to provide a wide range of products, including appliances, material handling equipment, air filters, batteries, electrical supplies, and more. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide knowledgeable personnel, a stocking facility within Michigan, and the ability to meet 48-hour delivery requirements. The vendor will also be required to integrate with the City's Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and provide reporting capabilities. • The contract will be awarded based on the lowest bid, with consideration given to the vendor's ability to meet the City's requirements. • The vendor will be required to provide a price list with firm prices, as well as a methodology for making price adjustments during the term of the contract. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause. • The vendor will be required to maintain certain insurance coverage, including automobile liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
