The VA Long Beach Healthcare System is procuring three powered recliners (two standard‑size, one bariatric/XL) to support inpatient medicine and dialysis treatment areas. The chairs must support at least 300 lb (standard) or 500 lb (XL), feature powered recline, Trendelenburg positioning, heat and massage functions, USB charging, and be compatible with safe‑patient‑handling equipment. They must meet infection‑control standards (removable seats, cleanable surfaces) and be delivered within 60 days after order receipt.
