Engineering Services for Richland Chambers Lake Pump Station Chemical Improvements

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) seeks a qualified engineering consulting firm to provide full‑service design, permitting, procurement support, and construction‑phase engineering for chemical‑feed improvements at the Richland‑Chambers Lake Pump Station (RC1). The scope includes project management, preliminary investigations, preliminary and final design, permitting, and procurement‑phase services for new sodium hypochlorite storage, secondary containment, chemical piping, conversion of aqua‑ammonia to liquid ammonium sulfate, and demolition of existing chlorine systems. The selected firm will develop a comprehensive design package, coordinate multidisciplinary disciplines, and support TRWD through construction administration (later awarded separately). • Design of bulk sodium hypochlorite storage tank and feed skid • Chemical‑resistant secondary containment and protected piping routes • Conversion of aqua‑ammonia system to liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS) • Demolition of gaseous chlorine storage, feed system, and scrubber • Multidisciplinary engineering (mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, controls, SCADA) • Permitting, cost estimating, scheduling, constructability review, startup & commissioning support • Project management and coordination with TRWD staff and other contractors • Pre‑submittal site visit on 23 Sep 2026 (non‑mandatory) and electronic SOQ submission by 20 Oct 2026
