Standard Aero UH-H3 (Huey Cubed) Data Package

The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation's (DNRC) Air Ops Division is seeking to procure a Standard Aero UH-H3 (Huey Cubed) Data Package. This data package is intended for the modification of the MT205 helicopter, a highly modified version of the U.S. Army UH-1H helicopter, to enhance its performance. The package includes modification data, an Operator's Manual, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA). The procurement is planned as a sole source purchase from Standard Aero Limited, with a budget constraint of $150,000.00. • The data package is compatible with previous modifications to the MT205 helicopter. • The MT205 helicopter is a non-certificated helicopter operated as a Public Use aircraft by the DNRC. • The data package has been used by other Public Use Operators to modify UH-1H helicopters and enhance their performance. • Standard Aero is pursuing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for the issue of a Supplement Type Certification (STC) for this data package applicable to the UH-1H. • The procurement is subject to the discretion of the State, and written comments from potential vendors are invited.
