The City of Avondale is seeking a qualified contractor to manage the operations of its municipal gallery, located within the Civic Center Library. The contractor will be responsible for delivering consistent, professional gallery operations, curating a diverse and inclusive exhibition schedule, expanding public access to the arts, and ensuring all artwork and facilities are maintained to professional standards. The contract will be for a period of one year, with four renewable one-year options. The city's current budget for gallery management services is $15,000 per year. Key responsibilities include: • Maintaining regular public hours and providing qualified staff to manage daily operations • Developing and implementing an annual exhibition calendar featuring a minimum of four rotating exhibitions • Planning and hosting at least four community engagement events annually • Creating and distributing promotional content for exhibitions and events • Ensuring safe handling, storage, and display of all artwork in accordance with professional standards
