SECURITY OFFICER SERVICES AT THE GEORGE J. OTLOWSKI SR. - CENTER FOR MENTAL HEALTH CARE

The County of Middlesex is seeking a qualified vendor to provide security officer services at the George J. Otlowski Sr. - Center for Mental Health Care. The services include providing unarmed security officers for full-time, part-time, and overtime shifts. The vendor must provide qualified personnel, training, and equipment to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors. The contract period is for 12 months with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms. • The security officers will be responsible for maintaining order, preventing disturbances, and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. • The vendor must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive description of procedures used to maintain qualified staff at the Otlowski Center. • The vendor must provide narrative describing specific training provided on how to work with people with mental health issues and carrying and utilization of pepper spray.
