Alternative Fuel Production in New York

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI 6169) to collect market input on drop‑in alternative‑fuel projects that would use New York‑state waste‑derived, biogenic, or captured‑CO₂ feedstocks. The RFI seeks data on project pipelines, readiness, barriers, and feedback on a prior pilot program (PON 6031) to shape a competitive solicitation anticipated for 2026.
