Janitorial Services for Kentucky Board of Cosmetology

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology. The services will be performed at the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology, located at 1025 Capital Center Drive, Suite 200, Frankfort, KY. The scope of work includes emptying waste baskets, collecting and removing trash, vacuuming carpeted areas, sweeping and damp mopping non-carpeted floors, cleaning restrooms, and performing other related tasks. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and will be responsible for managing and performing the cleaning services. Some of the key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Emptying all waste baskets • Collecting and removing trash from the building • Vacuuming all carpeted areas • Sweeping and damp mopping non-carpeted floors • Cleaning restrooms • Dusting desks, tables, and chairs • Dusting ceiling areas, high corners, and vents • Cleaning glass on exterior doors • Washing and sanitizing restroom walls, partitions, and fixtures • Cleaning and polishing baseboards • Cleaning floors and around fixtures • Refilling all dispensers (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) The vendor will also be required to provide a site visit, and to submit a bid that includes all necessary information, including pricing, experience, and certifications.
