GPS System for Golf Carts - Boone County Golf Courses

The Boone County Golf Courses are seeking a qualified vendor to design and install a GPS system in the golf cart fleet at the two Boone County Golf Courses. The GPS system should include a touch screen on each cart and management software for staff use. The system must be able to handle harsh outdoor elements and power up and down with the golf cart key. The proposal should include a narrative addressing all requirements, a certificate of insurance, and a W9 form. The evaluation criteria include the nonfinancial portions of the proposal, the quality of equipment and software, and price/value. • The GPS system should be installed on 150-160 gas-powered golf carts. • The system should include a minimum 9-inch diagonal screen mounted on the center front of each cart. • The system should be wired to draw power from the golf cart and power up and down with the cart key. • The system should include management software for staff use. • The proposal should include at least three references from other organizations. • The proposal should include a description of the organization's experience and capabilities in designing and installing golf course GPS systems.
