Veterinary Care for Animals in SDP Care

The Philadelphia School District’s Office of Career & Technical Education is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive veterinary care services for animals enrolled in the district’s School‑Based Day Care (SDP) program. Contractors will be responsible for routine health examinations, vaccinations, emergency care, and any specialized treatment required to maintain the health and welfare of the animals under the district’s care. • Provide on‑site veterinary examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for SDP animals. • Supply vaccination programs, preventative care, and emergency response services. • Maintain detailed medical records and compliance with state animal‑health regulations. • Coordinate with school staff to schedule visits and ensure minimal disruption to educational activities. • Deliver periodic reports on animal health status and recommendations for ongoing care.
