RFQ for Architecture and Engineering Services for Renovations to Two Floors of the Barton Building for Innovation and Research Administration

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services for the renovation of two floors within the Barton Building, which houses its Innovation and Research Administration. The scope includes design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration for the renovation project. Qualified firms will be evaluated based on experience, technical approach, and ability to meet UAMS’s schedule and quality expectations. • Renovation of two floors in the Barton Building (commercial/ institutional interior). • Required services: architectural design, engineering (structural, MEP), construction documentation, and oversight. • Submissions must be delivered electronically (and one hard copy) by June 11, 2026, 4 PM CST. • Preference given to small, minority‑ and women‑owned businesses, in accordance with Arkansas Code § 22‑9‑203.
