Term Contract for Appraisal Professional Services

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking proposals from qualified appraisers to provide appraisal services for the Docks and Harbors department. The selected appraiser will be responsible for estimating the annual market value of properties and providing reports that include onsite photographs, comparable land data, and an annual land rent comparison chart. The appraiser must be on the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources list of qualified appraisers and must provide a scope of work, schedule, and fee for each project agreement. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Some key requirements include: • Providing appraisals to estimate the annual market value of properties • Including onsite photographs and comparable land data in reports • Providing an annual land rent comparison chart • Being on the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources list of qualified appraisers • Providing a scope of work, schedule, and fee for each project agreement • Maintaining required insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
