Golf Cart Rentals

The City of Newport News is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide golf cart rentals for various special events throughout the calendar year. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and picking up golf carts, repairing or replacing non-functional carts, and providing a 24-hour point of contact for maintenance and repair. The city reserves the right to add and delete events and adjust event quantities as necessary. • The contractor must provide gas-operated golf carts with a windshield, lights, and a charger. • Cargo carts must have two seats, a cargo bed, and be able to haul 100 lbs at normal speeds. • Passenger carts must be able to hold six passengers. • The contractor must deliver carts on the days indicated for each event and provide a list of available maintenance technicians. • The city will issue a blanket purchase order, and the contractor must provide goods and services on an as-requested basis.
