Description:
The Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, is soliciting white papers for the Endless Forge (EF) program, which aims to develop an adaptive, surge-adaptive, resilient, and scalable manufacturing capability to enable US industrial base dominance. The program focuses on innovative products, technologies, and services related to manufacturing and industrial technologies, composite, ceramic, metallic, and materials performance, and integration and operations. The deliverables under this contract will include data items, software, hardware, and other items to be determined based on the proposal. The period of performance is anticipated to be approximately 36 months per award. • The program has a total estimated cost of $149 million with multiple awards anticipated. • The Air Force reserves the right to award zero, one, or more contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, or Other Transactions (OTs) for all, some, or none of the solicited effort. • The awards under this Open Period Solicitation are anticipated to be OT for Prototype and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contracts. • Foreign participation is not authorized at the prime contractor level.
