Legal Support Services – (Court Filing, Process Serving, Document Retrieval, Subpoena, Reprographic, and other services)

The City of Los Angeles is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide court filing, process serving, document retrieval, subpoena, reprographic, and other related legal support services to the various divisions within the Office of the City Attorney. The selected vendors will be expected to carry out the work qualified to provide all or part of the legal services being sought. The city attorney handles filing fees by using Journal Technologies to e-file Civil matters and is generally fee exempt. The Office has a credit card on file to cover court transaction fees on a per transaction basis. • The proposal includes services such as court filing, process serving, document retrieval, subpoena, and reprographic services. • The city attorney's office uses Journal Technologies for e-filing and has a credit card on file to cover court transaction fees. • The selected vendors will be expected to provide all or part of the legal services being sought. • The proposal includes a fee schedule for litigation support services. • The city attorney's office has a existing contract with requirements for invoicing and billing.
