Construction Cost Estimator Services

The University of New Mexico’s Facilities Design & Construction (FDC) seeks qualified professional consultants to provide on‑call construction cost estimating services for a broad portfolio of capital improvement, renovation, infrastructure, deferred‑maintenance, and new‑construction projects across the UNM system. The work will support project planning, budgeting, scope validation, value analysis, and cost control throughout multiple design phases. • Provide detailed cost estimates (ROM, conceptual, schematic, design‑development, construction‑document) using historic data, parametric methods, and unit‑pricing. • Deliver BOE (Basis of Estimate) reports, escalation assumptions, contingency analysis, and value‑engineering support. • Serve as an on‑call resource for multiple concurrent UNM projects, responding promptly to requests for estimates, bid reconciliation, and cost‑trend analysis.
