Shelby County Board of Education is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional instructional temporary staffing across the district’s K‑12 schools. The contractor will supply licensed teachers, librarians, counselors, behavioral specialists, family‑engagement specialists, substitutes, paraprofessionals, bilingual mentors, computer lab assistants, and other instructional support staff on a daily or hourly basis as needed. The contract is a fixed‑price, three‑year agreement with two optional one‑year renewals, and the district expects to fill 100‑250 positions daily with a target fill rate of 90 % or higher. Vendors must meet extensive credentialing, background‑check, insurance, and compliance requirements, and they must provide laptops, supplies, and the SmartFind Express Absence Management Tool within their pricing. • Provide qualified, Tennessee‑licensed (or reciprocated) instructional personnel on‑site for up to 40 hours/week per staff member. • Submit single fixed daily rates for each classification (no hourly ranges); include costs for laptops, supplies, and the SmartFind tool. • Comply with strict insurance (minimum $1 M per occurrence) and background‑check standards; no subcontractors without prior written approval. • Contract term: 3 years with two optional 1‑year extensions; award anticipated August 2021, performance to begin shortly thereafter.
