High Service Pump Station Pipe Repair and Recoating

The City of Ames is seeking bids from qualified companies to perform pipe repairs at the Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Station. The scope of work includes removing failing coatings and applying new ones, as well as removing damaged hardware and replacing it with corrosion-resistant hardware. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, tools, equipment, and materials. The project is expected to be completed by May 29, 2026. Key activities include: • Removing failed coatings and corrosion and applying new coatings in various locations • Removing all corroded hardware and replacing it with corrosion-resistant hardware • Providing a trash container on site and collecting waste daily • Making arrangements to receive, unload, and store project materials • Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)
