The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking consultants to provide research services on-call to support public outreach, communications, and engagement. The scope of work includes quantitative and qualitative research, such as attitudinal and awareness surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and other methods to achieve specific research objectives. The consultant will design, administer, analyze, and report the findings and recommendations for a given study based on the research objectives and scope. Key aspects of the job include: • Characterizing trends in attitudes toward and awareness of Metropolitan's brand, water issues, and policies • Testing potential messaging and exploratory campaign concepts • Assessing the effectiveness of communications and campaign channels • Measuring campaign effectiveness in educating, inspiring, and motivating water conservation or other actions • Tracking brand awareness and knowledge and participation in rebates • Assessing the cost-effectiveness of conservation campaigns and other initiatives The consultant will work with Metropolitan to determine the appropriate methodology, sample size, and target population for each study.
