FY26 MDAR State owned Land Lease Opportunities-Middleborough + Lakeville

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) is seeking proposals for the agricultural use of approximately 13.0 +/- acres of state-owned land in Lakeville and Middleborough, Massachusetts. The goal of the State-Owned Farmland Licensing Program is to maintain productive farmland resources on state-owned lands and contribute to the Commonwealth's agricultural economy and local food system. Eligible applicants include Massachusetts residents with an interest in or experience with commercial farming, who demonstrate the intent and capacity to actively farm the licensed property for agricultural production. The license agreements will be issued for a period of up to five years, with an option to renew for an additional period of up to five years.
