supply and delivery of sludge polymer for wastewater sludge dewatering

The City of Franklin is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of sludge polymer for wastewater sludge dewatering. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option to extend for two additional years. The bidder will be required to provide pre-bid pre- and post-dewatering bench testing and pre-bid pre- and post-dewatering solids process testing. The City's sludge dewatering target is to produce a sludge "cake" that consists of 16%-20% solids after being processed through the pre-dewatering centrifuges and a 25%-30% solid after post-dewatering through the Huber screw presses. • The bidder shall provide a detailed description of the bid services to be rendered, including any goods, products, items, software, and/or hardware included in their bid. • The bidder shall identify any exceptions to the City's specifications and provide a description of how such exceptions deviate from the City's expectations. • The bidder shall provide manufacturer's literature and data, including the current safety data sheet (SDS) for the bid chemical. • The bidder shall indicate on its Bid Submittal Form the bid chemical manufacturer's URL for the current SDS for the bid chemical. • The bidder awarded the purchase shall provide the labor and equipment necessary to unload or offload the bid chemical.
