Description
The State of California is seeking a qualified contractor to design‑build and construct a new maintenance‑yard complex at Grover Hot Springs State Park, including a pre‑engineered pump house, a 1,806 sf wood‑framed dormitory, site utilities, fire‑water tank, driveway loop, parking lot, grading, drainage, and related infrastructure. The contract will be awarded on a low‑price basis with mandatory 6 % DVBE participation and a 10 % bid bond. Work must begin within 10 calendar days of the notice to commence and be completed within 365 calendar days.
• Construct pump house, dormitory, fire‑water tank, and associated utilities (water, sewer, electrical, communication).
• Provide site work: grading, storm‑water drainage, pavement, RV spur, and accessible parking with optional EV‑charging stations (deductive alternates).
• Comply with extensive state and federal codes (CBC, CFC, NFPA, ADA) and submit a full suite of mandatory certifications (DVBE, SB, non‑collusion, AI disclosure, etc.).
