The Missoula County Auditor’s Office is seeking a qualified rodeo stock contractor to provide all livestock, arena personnel, feed, equipment, and production services required for the five‑night, PRCA‑sanctioned Missoula Stampede Rodeo in August 2026 (with a second year in 2027 and optional extensions through 2032). The contractor must be a PRCA member in good standing, supply a full complement of rodeo animals (bareback horses, steers, saddle broncs, bulls, sheep, etc.), manage arena staffing, meet insurance and liability requirements, and collaborate with the County on housing logistics, contestant recruitment, and year‑round rodeo promotion. The County provides limited lodging, arena facilities, and added‑money funds for certain events; the contractor is responsible for all other costs and must submit a detailed cost proposal.
• Deliver livestock (timed‑event cattle, rough‑stock animals, breakaway calves) and associated feed/equipment for each rodeo night.
• Provide full arena direction, staffing (director, secretary, timers, bull fighters, handlers), and production oversight, including contestant day‑sheets and payout reports.
• Meet PRCA welfare standards, maintain required insurance (≥ $1 M per occurrence, $2 M aggregate), and submit audited financial statements and references.
• Coordinate housing logistics with the County and adapt to potential schedule changes (3‑ or 4‑performance formats).
• Offer a two‑year base term (2026‑2027) with up‑to‑five‑year renewal options, subject to performance and PRCA compliance.
