AUDITING SERVICES

Manatee County is seeking independent external auditing services for fiscal years ending September 30, 2026 through September 30, 2030. The successful proposer will be required to provide annual financial statement audit services, Government Auditing Standards reporting, management letters, and other related services. The County requires timely completion of all work necessary to support financial reporting, governing-body review, and required statutory filings. Key services to be provided include: • Annual financial statement audit services • Government Auditing Standards reporting • Management letters • Separate opinions or companion reports where required • Applicable federal and state single-audit services • Special compliance or agreed-upon-procedure services The successful proposer shall be an independent certified public accounting firm licensed to practice in the State of Florida and experienced in providing annual financial audit services for Florida local governments and county constitutional officers of comparable size and complexity.
