Army Contracting Command – Red River Army Depot (ACC-RRAD) Organic Industrial Base (OIB) Modernization Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Red River Army Depot (ACC-RRAD) is seeking innovative commercial solutions to modernize its Organic Industrial Base (OIB). The OIB modernization effort focuses on several areas, including Agile/Flexible Facilities, Connected Digital Enterprise, Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, and Advanced Analytics. The Army is looking for solutions that can enhance the speed, build envelope, accuracy, finish, and resolution of manufacturing processes. The CSO process involves a multi-phased approach, with companies submitting solution briefs, presentations/pitches, and commercial solution proposals. The Army will evaluate submissions based on technical merit, responsiveness to the Area of Interest (AoI), and price reasonableness. Some key areas of interest include: • Agile/Flexible Facilities: adaptive manufacturing facilities and capabilities that are scalable and integrate resources for rapid response to the Warfighter • Connected Digital Enterprise: creates end-to-end visibility across the arsenal or depot facility to increase production volume and tighter quality control • Advanced Manufacturing: enhancing the speed, build envelope, accuracy, finish, and resolution of manufacturing processes • Automation: labor savings, reducing waste, savings in electricity costs, savings in material costs, and improvements to quality, accuracy, and precision • Advanced Analytics: autonomous or semi-autonomous examination of data or content using sophisticated techniques and tools to discover deeper insights, make predictions, or generate recommendations The Army is seeking innovative and commercially available solutions that can be integrated into its existing manufacturing processes.
