Dingell VA Medical Center and an adjacent Fisher House facility in Detroit, MI. The work includes routine collection of general solid waste, cardboard recycling, construction/bulk waste roll‑off services, metal recycling, and associated equipment maintenance, with 24‑hour emergency response capability. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price, twelve‑month base period with four renewable twelve‑month option years, totaling up to five years of service. The contractor must supply all labor, vehicles, containers, compactor equipment, and must adhere to VA‑specified reporting, safety, and sustainability requirements.
• Provide routine (Mon‑Sat, 4‑8 am) general waste collection, cardboard recycling, and bulk‑waste roll‑off services.
• Maintain, repair, and operate government‑owned compactor/chute equipment and contractor‑owned containers.
• Deliver monthly reporting, recycling revenue reconciliation, and 24‑hour emergency response per the Performance Work Statement.
• Comply with Service Contract Act wage determinations (WD 2015‑4839 Rev 32) and all VA security, insurance, and sustainability clauses.
