Special Procurement Determination Approval Notice: Legal Services

The Oregon Public Defense Commission is providing public notice of the approval of Special Procurement Determination REQ-DASOBO-00112852 for Public Defense Legal Services Contracts and Contract Amendments. This class of contracts includes services needed to provide adequate public defense, such as public defense attorney services, legal representation, and related requirements. The notice is pursuant to ORS 279B.085(5) and 279B.400 and Oregon Administrative Rules 125-247-0287, 125-247-0700, and 137-047-0700. Any affected person may protest the approval of the Special Procurement Determination. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • Public defense attorney services, including trial-level, appellate, criminal, juvenile, and parent-child representation program • Legal representation, advice, and consultation for the Commission, its members, the executive director, and staff • Related requirements, such as services provided by special assistants, case managers, investigators, professional or expert witnesses, and consultants • Travel, photocopying, and other reproduction of documents, as well as services associated with obtaining the attendance of witnesses for the defense • State public defense population forecasts and other related forecasts This is not an opportunity to submit a proposal, but rather a notice of the approval of the Special Procurement Determination.
