88--FY26 OLYM MULE PURCHASE

The National Park Service, Olympic National Park, intends to issue a sole source award for the purchase of 4-6 mules to support trail maintenance, backcountry structure maintenance, ranger and crew operations, and resource management research. The mules must meet certain minimum requirements, including a minimum height of 14.2 hands, a maximum age of 12, previous pack and saddle training, and a positive response to human interaction. Interested parties are invited to submit a written Statement of Capability, limited to 2 pages, demonstrating their ability to provide mules that meet the listed requirements.
